We focus on:
Gathering and spreading information about all metabolic diseases in Dutch: via
- our diseases database
- our bi-monthly magazine "Wisselstof"
The development of a "Standard of Care" and the identification of expertise: by
-collaboration with renown specialists in metabolic diseases
-reseaching patients needs and requirements for care
The availability of (orphan) medicinal products, aids and equal access to facilities for people with rare diseases: by
-participation in commitees and (international) organisation with similar objectives
-lobbying political and civil bodies
